The Vivobook X507 is constructed out of plastic through but the finishing on the product adds an element of finesse to it. Overall design and build is really good and definitely get peoples attention at first glance.

    It’s not only good looking but the laptop itself very slim and compact, which is really good for students and frequent travellers. The keyboard is also good, it has a nice textured finish which, in some ways, helps keep the hands from sliding around. 

    Coming to the display, this device packs in a 15.6-inch 1080p full HD panel with good colours and brightness levels. Honestly, the quality of the display is really good compared to other laptops below 35k.

In terms of design, it comes with a very basic build and design, which is typical for laptops in this price segment. It’s only available in black and the entire outer chassis is made of plastic, but it feels sturdy and doesn’t look too cheap thanks to the horizontal stripes on the lid and palm rest.

    The 15.6-inch display on this laptop has a full-HD (1080×1920) resolution, for a decent level of sharpness. Overall quality is acceptable at this price point. You get a full-sized keyboard with a number pad. The chiclet keys are well spaced and have soft tactile feedback so they aren’t noisy. The trackpad also has a very smooth texture and the left and right buttons don’t require much effort to use.

    The Aspire 3 is powered by an Intel Core i5-8250U, which comes with 1.6 GHz base frequency and 3.4 GHz turbo frequency. Since this is a budget laptop, we have to make do with the integrated GPU, which is the Intel UHD 620. But don’t worry for the gamer there is another variant with 2GB NVIDIA Geforce MX130. There is a 4GB DDR4 RAM onboard, but you can also upgrade up to 12GB. For faster performance, you can also install m2 SSD drive.

    It comes equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. the colours look a bit washed out from a distance but the brightness levels are OK, which is acceptable at this price.

    Overall, this Acer laptop is really value for money. For this money, you get a recent Intel CPU, fairly good build quality, a full-HD display, a comfortable keyboard, and decent battery life. So if you are a college student or normal casual user and you need a laptop for all your daily tasks and you’re not looking to spend too much on a laptop, then this one is a good pick.
