7Dell Vostro 14 3478 (14 inches)

The Dell Vostro 3478 is my fourth choice in the list of best laptops under 40000 Rs. On the design front, it looks the same as previous Dell laptop, so we skip the design part and directly talk about performance.

The laptop comes with 14-inch HD LED Backlit Display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 Pixel. The quality of this display is decent but we’d have thrilled to have a full HD panel instead.

It is powered by 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor with base clock speed of 1.6 GHz, but if required it can also boost up to 3.4 GHz. There is a 4GB DDR4 RAM module clocked at 2400 Mhz coupled with a 1TB HDD (7400 RPM) for storage. You can also upgrade RAM up to 16GB on one empty slot.

The laptop also comes with 2GB AMD Radeon 520 dedicated graphics card, which helps you in graphics-intensive tasks and gaming. The main gripe with this device is that it lacks a pre-installed OS, so you need to install by your self.

The battery on this laptop delivers an approx 6 hours of usage time on a single charge, which is really good compared to other laptops in this price range. The laptop doesn’t come with DVD writer, but the good part is that it has a fingerprint scanner. Which offer you more security. More information please check the spec. table.

8Lenovo Ideapad 130-14IKB (14-inches)

The Lenovo 130-14IKB is my last choice in the list of best laptops under 35000 Rs. On the design front, it looks very stylish and attractive. The black colour and metal finish on the interior imparts a premium and classy feel to the build.

The best part is that it very slim, compact and lightweight, so I highly recommend this laptop for office users.

The only downside of this laptop is that it not comes with full HD display. It comes with 14-inch HD LED-backlit anti-glare display with 1366 x 768-pixel resolution.

On the port performance side, it has latest 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor which is quite hard to find at this price point. The base clock speed is 1.6 GHz, but it can also turbo boost up to 3.4Ghz. For processing support, it has 4GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB hard drive storage. You can also upgrade RAM up to 16 GB with this laptop.

The laptop has Windows 10 Home OS pre-installed along with a year worth of McAfee LiveSafe Antivirus subscription free of cost. Apart from that, there are all the required connectivity ports on the right right side. But the bad thing is that we don’t get a DVD writer.

Because of the 14-inch screen, battery performance of this laptop is average. We get approx 4 hours of power backup after full charging. It also supports Lenovo fast charging technology.

If you are the one looking for a stylish & compact design and a decent processor that can handle your daily multitasking use, this device is really good options for you.
