The best robot vacuum cleaner in India for most homes, and the one we would buy.

10,000Pa · Up to 300 min · LiDAR · Bagless dock

✓ First-time buyers
✓ 2–3 BHK homes
✓ Hands-free emptying
✓ Hard floors + light carpet
Not ideal for
– Serious wet-mopping
– Cleaning-solution users
– Rotating-mop fans
Verdict: It does the boring, important things well: maps the whole house with LiDAR, runs for hours, and empties itself into a bagless dock, all at ₹27,999.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ LiDAR mapping for the price
+ Long battery, up to 300 min
+ Bagless auto-empty dock
+ Anti-tangle brush for long hair
+ Amazon’s Choice, 4K+ bought last month
What we don’t like
– Basic non-rotating mop

– Service experience varies by city
Full review
Most robot vacuums force a trade-off. Cheap ones wander, the smart ones cost as much as a good phone, and the ones with docks usually hide a recurring bag cost. The N30 Plus is the first machine on our shortlist that dodges most of that. You get LiDAR navigation, a 5200mAh battery rated for up to 300 minutes, and a dock that sucks dust out of the robot after every run without a single bag to buy.
Navigation and coverage. TrueMapping LiDAR scans the room with a spinning laser and builds a floor plan on the first run. Ecovacs rates it for about 3,500 sq ft, which is a big 3BHK. That is more than enough for most Indian flats, and it means the robot cleans in neat rows instead of bouncing off furniture like a gyro model.
Suction and hair handling. 10,000Pa is the headline, and it is a respectable mid-range number. What matters more for Indian homes is the ZeroTangle 2.0 brush, which is built to stop long hair from wrapping round the roller. If someone at home has long hair, this saves you a weekly session with scissors.
The dock. The OmniCyclone station is bagless. Dust is pulled out of the robot into a cyclone bin that you tip into the dustbin when it fills up. No bags to order, which is a real saving over a year.
The mop (be realistic). This is where it gives. The mop is a basic flat pad, not a rotating one, so it wipes light dust and fresh spills but will not scrub dried stains. Ecovacs also says not to put cleaning solution in the tank. If mopping is your main reason to buy a robot, jump to the Narwal Freo X Plus.
Ecovacs Deebot N30 Plus vs the competition. Against the Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 (₹22,999), the N30 Plus costs about ₹5,000 more but gives you more suction on paper (10,000Pa vs 6,000Pa) and a bagless dock. Against the Narwal Freo X Plus, it vacuums better and mops worse. If you do not need the dock at all, the same robot without the dock (N30) is listed around ₹19,999.

Best for Mopping
2. Narwal Freo X Plus
8.3 Overall
8.2 Performance
9.2 Value
6.5 Service
Proper mopping for people who actually have tile floors.

7,800Pa · Rotating mops · 254 min · Tri-laser
Best for
✓ Tile and marble homes
✓ Daily wet mopping
✓ Alexa / Google / Siri users
✓ Budget under ₹25,000
Not ideal for
– Cleaning-solution users
– Routers on 5GHz only
– Towns with no service centre
Verdict: Two spinning mop pads press down on the floor and scrub. Nothing else near ₹20,000 mops like this.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ Rotating pads actually scrub
+ Auto mop-lift over carpet
+ Triple-laser obstacle avoidance
+ Dust compression, about 7 weeks
+ Works with Alexa, Google, Siri
What we don’t like
– Clean water only, no solution
– 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only
– Thinner service network than Ecovacs or Dreame
– Lower suction than the N30 Plus
Full review
Walk barefoot on an Indian tile floor and you know the problem: it looks clean but feels sticky. Most budget robots just drag a damp cloth around. The Freo X Plus uses two rotating mop pads that press down with about 6N of force, so it scrubs the way you would with your hand. That alone puts it ahead of every other machine under ₹25,000 on this list for wet cleaning.
Mopping system. Dual rotating pads with 6N downward pressure lift light stains and footprints rather than smearing them. When it senses carpet, the pads lift automatically by about 9mm so your rug does not get soaked.
Obstacle avoidance. Three lasers help it spot objects at floor level: socks, charging cables, chappals. It is not a pet-poop-proof guarantee, so tidy loose wires anyway.
Suction and dust handling. 7,800Pa is lower than the N30 Plus, but the dock compresses dust inside the machine, so Narwal rates a bin for around seven weeks of cleaning. It is fine for daily dust. It is not the pick for homes with heavy pet shedding.
Smart-home support. Works with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, which is rare at this price.
Narwal Freo X Plus vs the competition. Against the Ecovacs N30 Plus, you give up some suction and a bit of service reassurance, and you gain much better mopping for about ₹7,000 less. Against the Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 (₹22,999), the Narwal mops better while the Dreame has the larger self-empty bag.

A tidy LiDAR robot with a dock that goes three months between emptyings.

6,000Pa · 4L bag, 90 days · 285 min · LiDAR
Best for
✓ Lazy emptying (90 days)
✓ Flats with pets
✓ Budget under ₹25,000
Not ideal for
– Heavy-duty mopping
– Anyone allergic to buying bags
– Maximum suction seekers
Verdict: The dock holds a 4L bag that Dreame rates for about 90 days. If you hate emptying bins, this is the cheapest way out.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ LiDAR mapping
+ Big 4L bag, about 90 days
+ Rubber brush resists hair wrap
+ 4.3★ across 2,600+ ratings
What we don’t like
– Lowest suction among docked picks
– Replacement bags are a recurring cost
– Owners mention unclear service timelines
Full review
The D10 Plus Gen 2 sits in the sweet spot between the budget Y1 Pro and the pricey Dreame L50 Plus. It has LiDAR mapping, a rubber brush that resists hair wrapping, and a big dust bag in the dock. You will not think about the dustbin for roughly three months.
Navigation. LiDAR-based mapping with a Quick Mapping mode and spot-clean. Unlike gyro robots, it does not retrace the same patch while missing the corner behind the sofa.
Suction. 6,000Pa Vormax. On paper that is the lowest of the docked machines here, but for everyday Indian dust and rice-grain crumbs it is enough. It will not pull deep dirt out of thick carpets the way the 25,000Pa machines do.
Dock and bag. The 4L bag is the big win and the hidden cost. You will have to buy replacement bags (a few per year), so keep that in your running costs.
Battery. Up to 285 minutes, enough for a 2–3 BHK on one charge.
Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2 vs the competition. Compared to the N30 Plus, you save about ₹5,000 and get a bigger dust bag, but suction drops from 10,000Pa to 6,000Pa and you have to buy bags. Compared to the Y1 Pro (₹14,999), you pay ₹8,000 more for the self-emptying dock.
Key specs
| Suction | 6,000Pa (Vormax) |

The best robot vacuum cleaner in India under ₹15,000: LiDAR navigation at gyro prices, if you can live without a dock.

6,500Pa · 320 min · No dock · LiDAR
Best for
✓ First robot
✓ 1–2 BHK flats
✓ Tight budget
✓ Hard-floor homes
Not ideal for
– Hands-free emptying
– Big, cluttered homes
– Heavy carpets
Verdict: It is the cheapest way to get a robot that actually maps your home. You empty the bin yourself.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ LiDAR at a low price
+ Up to 320 min, longest runtime here
+ Vacuums and mops in one pass
+ 3,000+ ratings, proven track record
What we don’t like
– No dock, manual emptying
– Small bin
– Noisier than premium models
Full review
At ₹14,999 the Y1 Pro is the entry ticket. It is also the most reviewed robot on this list (over 3,000 ratings on Amazon), which tells you how many first-time buyers started here. It cleans the floor in neat lines, mops in the same pass, and lasts up to 320 minutes on a charge, the longest runtime of the seven.
Navigation. LiDAR with TrueMapping means it plans rows rather than wandering, a big step up from the gyro robots around ₹10,000.
Cleaning. 6,500Pa suction. A single pass both vacuums and mops using a damp cloth, which is good for daily upkeep but not for stains.
The compromise. No dock. The dustbin is small (about 0.4L) and you empty it after each run. At 67 decibels it is also louder than premium docked machines.
Ecovacs Deebot Y1 Pro vs the competition. The Y1 Pro costs ₹13,000 less than the N30 Plus and gives you the same LiDAR-based navigation. What you give up: the auto-empty dock and about 3,500Pa of suction.
Key specs
| Suction | 6,500Pa |
| Battery | 5200mAh, up to 320 min |

25,000Pa and edge-reaching mops, without the full-flagship price.

25,000Pa · MopExtend arm · 120 days dust · 10.5mm lift
Best for
✓ Pet owners
✓ Mixed floors with some carpet
✓ Mop that reaches edges
Not ideal for
– Tight budgets
– Small flats
– Hot-water mop washing
Verdict: Strong suction, smarter edge mopping and a dock that goes 120 days. It is the step up if the N30 Plus feels too basic.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ 25,000Pa suction
+ Edge-and-corner mop arm
+ 10.5mm carpet mop-lift
+ About 120 days between dust emptying
What we don’t like
– ₹33,999 is a big jump from the N30 Plus
– Fewer ratings so far (971)
– No mop-washing dock
– Bag cost
Full review
The L50 Plus is the machine to buy when 10,000Pa stops being enough. At 25,000Pa it will pull fine dust from rugs and bristle rubber brushes handle pet hair. The MopExtend arm swings out to wipe along skirting boards and into corners, which fixes the most common complaint about round robots.
Suction and brush. 25,000Pa is manufacturer-rated peak. The bristled rubber brush and dual anti-tangle design are what actually reduce hair wrapping.
Mopping. Mops with a MopExtend arm for edges and corners, and it lifts the mops about 10.5mm for carpets, a bigger clearance than most here.
The dock. Collects dust for about 120 days with a 4L bag. Great for a lazy owner, but you will pay for bags.
Dreame L50 Plus vs the competition. Compared with the N50 Pro Omni at ₹53,999, the L50 Plus is ₹20,000 cheaper. You lose the mop-washing dock and auto water refill but keep the strong suction. The base L50 (without the Plus dock) is listed around ₹26,999.
Key specs
| Suction | 25,000Pa |
| Mop | MopExtend for edges and corners |
| Carpet | Mop-lift about 10.5mm |
| Brush | Bristled rubber + dual anti-tangle |
| Dock | 4L bag, about 120 days |

A dock that washes, dries, refills and empties by itself.

25,000Pa · 75°C mop wash · Hot-air dry · 3L bag
Best for
✓ Zero-effort cleaning
✓ Large homes
✓ Tile and marble
Not ideal for
– Small flats
– Tight budgets
– Small-town service
Verdict: The dock washes the mops in 75°C water and dries them with warm air, so you do almost nothing.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ 75°C mop washing + 45°C hot-air drying
+ Auto refill and cleaning solution
+ 25,000Pa
+ 4.4★, best rated here
What we don’t like
– ₹53,999
– Bulky dock, 11.6kg boxed
– Consumables add up
Full review
This is the first machine on the list where the dock does as much work as the robot. After a mopping run it washes the pads with 75°C water, dries them with 45°C hot air (no sour smell later), refills its own water and even adds cleaning solution. Dust goes into a 3L bag rated for about 90 days.
Mopping system. OZMO Turbo 2.0 dual rotating mops, with a 9mm auto mop-lift to avoid wetting carpets.
Suction and hair. 25,000Pa with ZeroTangle 3.0. The latest anti-tangle design is meant to cut hair wrapping.
Maintenance. Hot-water washing and hot-air drying keep mops fresher, which is the number one reason cheap mop robots start to smell. Expect to replace pads and bags on a schedule.
Ecovacs Deebot N50 Pro Omni vs the competition. The N50 Pro Omni costs ₹26,000 more than the N30 Plus. For that money you get rotating mops, a self-washing dock and about 2.5× the suction rating. If you do not mop daily, the N30 Plus is the better value.
Key specs
| Suction | 25,000Pa |

Best for
✓ Large homes with pets
✓ Money is not the issue
✓ Hot-water mop wash
Not ideal for
– Most 1–3 BHK flats
– Value seekers
– First-time buyers
Verdict: The best performance here, with 100°C mop washing and 30,000Pa. It is also last because of the price.
Pros and cons
What we like
+ 30,000Pa, best suction here
+ 100°C hot-water mop wash
+ Dual rotating mops
+ Strong at hair and stubborn stains
What we don’t like
– ₹69,999
– Bulky dock, about 13.6kg boxed
– Most users will not use the extra power

If the question is only “which robot cleans best?”, the L50s Pro Ultra wins. 30,000Pa rated suction, dual rotating mops, and a dock that washes pads with 100°C water. The catch: at ₹69,999 it costs more than two N30 Plus units, and the benefits only show up in big, hairy, demanding homes.
Suction and mopping. The highest suction rating here (30,000Pa) paired with dual rotating mops. For stubborn stains and thick-pile rugs, it is in a different league.
Dock. 100°C hot-water mop washing is the highest temperature on the list, so it is better at lifting oily kitchen grime from the pads between runs.
Obstacle climbing. Dreame advertises a higher threshold-climbing ability than the other robots here. Owners report different figures, so check the exact number in the box spec sheet against your door sills.
Dreame L50s Pro Ultra vs the competition. Against the N50 Pro Omni (₹53,999) you pay ₹16,000 more for 5,000Pa extra suction rating and a hotter mop wash. Against the L50 Plus (₹33,999) you pay twice the money for the hot-water dock.

Buying guide
How to choose the best robot vacuum cleaner in India
Six things decide whether you love your robot or return it. Tap each one.
01 · Navigation: LiDAR or gyro?
LiDAR maps your home; gyro guesses. All seven picks use LiDAR.
LiDAR: a spinning laser maps the home and cleans in straight rows. It remembers rooms, and you can block off areas or send it to one room.
Gyro: estimates movement, so it zigzags, misses patches and gets lost when you move it.
Our rule: pick LiDAR. It now starts at ₹14,999, so there is little reason to settle for gyro.
02 · Suction: how many Pa do you need?
6,000 to 10,000Pa is plenty for daily dust on tiles.
| Robot type | Suction |
|---|---|
| Basic gyro robot | 2,600Pa |
| D10 Plus Gen 2 | 6,000Pa |
| Y1 Pro | 6,500Pa |
| N30 Plus | 10,000Pa |
| L50 Plus, N50 Pro Omni | 25,000Pa |
| L50s Pro Ultra | 30,000Pa |
Pa is a peak number claimed by the brand. Go 20,000Pa or more for thick rugs, heavy pet hair or a large home. Do not compare Pa across brands too literally.
03 · Mopping: drag, vibrate or rotate?
Rotating pads scrub; drag pads only wipe.
Drag pad (budget): a damp cloth pulled along. Fine for daily dust. N30 Plus, D10 Plus Gen 2, Y1 Pro.
Vibrating (mid-range): the pad shakes to loosen fresh stains, not old ones.
Dual rotating (premium): two spinning pads press and scrub, best for dried footprints. Freo X Plus, N50 Pro Omni, L50s Pro Ultra.
Also check for carpet auto-lift, so the wet pad does not soak your rug.
04 · Pet hair: rubber, not bristles
Long hair wraps round bristle brushes within a week.
Look for rubber or bristled-rubber rollers and anti-tangle designs (ZeroTangle, dual anti-tangle). Plain bristle brushes collect hair like a comb.
Our pet picks: Dreame L50 Plus and Ecovacs N50 Pro Omni. Full list in the pet hair section.
05 · Dock: bag, bagless or mop-wash?
The dock decides how much work you still do.
No dock (Y1 Pro): cheapest, you empty a small bin after every run.
Bagless (N30 Plus): self-empties into a bin, no running cost.
Bag dock (D10 Plus Gen 2, L50 Plus, N50 Pro Omni): months between emptying, but you buy bags.
Mop-wash dock (N50 Pro Omni, L50s Pro Ultra): washes and dries the mops, so no sour smell.
06 · Your home: sills, carpets, gaps
Measure before you buy.
Measure your tallest door sill and the gap under your sofa and bed. Most robots clear 1 to 2cm sills, not higher. With carpet, look for automatic mop-lift (9 to 10.5mm on these robots). Tuck cables away; no robot is wire-proof.
Price guide
Robot vacuum cleaner price in India: what each budget buys
LiDAR robots run from about ₹15,000 to ₹70,000. The best robot vacuum cleaner in India is not always the dearest, so here is what each band gets you.
Under ₹15,000. Y1 Pro, ₹14,999: LiDAR and 6,500Pa, but no dock. Looking for a robot vacuum cleaner under 10000? We found none worth recommending; robots there are usually gyro models that wander.
₹15,000 to ₹25,000. Freo X Plus, ₹20,990 for mopping. D10 Plus Gen 2, ₹22,999 for a bag dock that lasts 90 days.
₹25,000 to ₹40,000. N30 Plus, ₹27,999 is the sweet spot. L50 Plus, ₹33,999 adds 25,000Pa for pets and rugs.
Above ₹40,000. N50 Pro Omni, ₹53,999 and L50s Pro Ultra, ₹69,999 wash and dry their own mops. Big homes only.
Vacuum and mop
Best robot vacuum and mop in India: wet and dry robot cleaners compared
All seven are wet and dry robot vacuum cleaners: they sweep, then mop. So whether you want a robot vacuum and mop, a robot mop and vacuum combo, or a robot vacuum cleaner that mops properly, the mop type decides whether the floor is clean or just damp.
| Mop type | How it cleans | Robots |
|---|---|---|
| Drag pad | Damp cloth. Good for daily dust. | N30 Plus, D10 Plus Gen 2, Y1 Pro |
| Dual rotating | Spinning pads scrub dried marks. | Freo X Plus, N50 Pro Omni, L50s Pro Ultra |
| Extending arm | Reaches along edges and skirting. | L50 Plus (MopExtend) |
Best vacuum and mop for tiles: Freo X Plus. Most hands-off: N50 Pro Omni. Best budget: Y1 Pro.
Pets and long hair
Best robot vacuum cleaner for pet hair
Pet hair wraps around bristle brushes and fills small bins. For a robot vacuum cleaner for pet hair, you want a rubber roller, 20,000Pa or more, and a self-emptying dock.
Dreame L50 Plus (₹33,999): bristled rubber roller, dual anti-tangle, 25,000Pa. Best for most pet homes.
Ecovacs N50 Pro Omni (₹53,999): ZeroTangle 3.0 brush, 25,000Pa and a dock that handles the mess.
Ecovacs N30 Plus (₹27,999): fine for light shedding, with no bag costs.
Brands
Robot vacuum brands in India: Ecovacs, Dreame, Narwal, Xiaomi, Eureka Forbes, Haier, Agaro and ILIFE
Which brand makes the best robot vacuum cleaner in India? Three brands made our shortlist. Here is the quick verdict on all eight.
Ecovacs. Chinese company (Suzhou), not Indian. Three picks: N30 Plus, Y1 Pro, N50 Pro Omni.
Dreame. Chinese brand. Three picks: D10 Plus Gen 2, L50 Plus, L50s Pro Ultra. Strong on suction and mop-wash docks.
Narwal. Chinese brand and a mopping specialist. Pick: Freo X Plus. Service network is thinner.

Questions people ask
Robot vacuum cleaner and mop FAQs
What is the best robot vacuum and mop in India?
The Ecovacs Deebot N30 Plus (₹27,999) is the best robot vacuum and mop for most Indian homes: it vacuums and mops in one pass at a fair price. For tile floors and stains, pick the Narwal Freo X Plus (₹20,990) with its rotating mop pads. For the most hands-off mopping, the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra (₹69,999) washes and dries its own mop pads. On a budget, the Ecovacs Deebot Y1 Pro (₹14,999) mops with a basic drag pad.
How to choose a good robot vacuum?
Check five things in this order. One: LiDAR navigation, not gyro. Two: suction that matches your floors (6,000 to 10,000Pa for tiles, 20,000Pa or more for rugs and pets). Three: the mop type (drag, vibrating or rotating). Four: the dock (none, bagless, bag or mop-wash). Five: your door sills and furniture gaps. The buying guide above explains each one.
Which robot vacuum works the best?
Overall, the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Plus (₹27,999) works best for most homes because it has no big weakness and the best value score. For raw performance the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra (₹69,999) scores highest, but it costs 2.5 times as much.
Which brand of robot vacuum is most reliable?
No brand is reliable in every case, and we know of no independent failure-rate study for India. Ecovacs and Dreame have the most models and the most owner feedback among our picks, so problems are easier to research before you buy. Whichever brand you choose, check the nearest service centre and keep the invoice.
Is Ecovacs an Indian company?
No. Ecovacs is a Chinese company based in Suzhou. It sells robot vacuums in India through Amazon.in, Flipkart and its own channels, with a local warranty. Eureka Forbes is an Indian brand, though its robot vacuums did not make our shortlist.
How much does a robot vacuum cleaner cost in India?
The robots in this guide range from ₹14,999 (Ecovacs Deebot Y1 Pro) to ₹69,999 (Dreame L50s Pro Ultra), based on Amazon.in prices on 17 October 2026 during the festive sale. Most homes are well served by the ₹20,000 to ₹28,000 band.
Is a robot vacuum worth it in India?
Yes, if you want the daily dust and crumbs gone without effort. It will not replace a deep clean of corners, stairs or sofa tops, and it will not scrub dried stains. Think of it as a daily helper, not a replacement for the broom on festival weekends.
What is the best robot vacuum cleaner in India right now?
For most homes the Ecovacs Deebot N30 Plus at ₹27,999 is the best all-rounder. If you care more about mopping, pick the Narwal Freo X Plus at ₹20,990. On a tight budget, the Ecovacs Deebot Y1 Pro at ₹14,999 is the cheapest robot here that maps your home with LiDAR.
LiDAR or gyro: which navigation is better?
LiDAR. It scans with a laser and builds a map, so the robot cleans in straight rows, remembers rooms and can be told to skip areas. Gyro robots estimate movement and tend to wander, miss patches and get lost when moved. All seven robots in this list use LiDAR.
How much suction (Pa) do I need?
For daily dust on tiles, 6,000 to 10,000Pa is plenty. Go for 20,000Pa or more if you have thick rugs, a lot of pet hair, or a big home. Pa figures are the manufacturer’s peak rating, so use them to compare tiers, not to judge exact cleaning power.
Can robot vacuums mop properly?
Basic ones drag a damp cloth, which is fine for light dust. Rotating mops (Narwal Freo X Plus, Ecovacs N50 Pro Omni, Dreame L50s Pro Ultra) press and scrub, which is better for sticky footprints. Docks with hot-water washing keep the pads fresh.
Which robot vacuum is best for pet hair?
Look for a rubber or bristle-rubber roller, not a plain bristle brush. The Dreame L50 Plus (bristled rubber and dual anti-tangle) and Ecovacs N50 Pro Omni (ZeroTangle 3.0) are the strongest for pets here.
Can I put floor cleaner in the water tank?
Not on every model. Ecovacs says not to add cleaning solution to the N30 Plus tank, and the Narwal Freo X Plus takes clean water only. The N50 Pro Omni dock can add cleaning solution automatically. Check your manual before adding anything.
What are the running costs?
Plan for replacement brushes, filters and mop pads every few months, plus dust bags every one to four months on bag docks (Dreame D10 Plus Gen 2, L50 Plus, N50 Pro Omni). Bagless docks like the N30 Plus save that cost.
Can a robot vacuum climb door sills?
Most handle low sills, around 1 to 2cm, but not high ones. Measure your tallest threshold and compare it with the spec sheet before you buy. Rotating-mop machines also lift their mops on carpets automatically.
How is service for these brands in India?
It varies by city. Ecovacs and Dreame have more owner reports than the rest, and complaints exist for both. Narwal’s network is thinner. Whichever you buy, keep the invoice, register the warranty (1 year on all seven) and ask the seller about the nearest service centre before ordering.
