Plus, it offers AC-like precise temperature control, multiple safety features, and promises to be significantly more energy efficient than regular oil heaters—potentially saving you money on electricity bills.

First Impressions: Design That Doesn’t Disappoint
When it comes to first impressions, I’ll say this—the Nuuk Hot Blox looks just as good in real life as it does in photos. The design is modern and minimalist, nothing like those old-school oil radiators that look bulky and outdated sitting in your living room.

There’s a premium vibe to this oil heater. No matter how modern your home interiors are, the Nuuk Hot Blox fits right in without looking out of place. I have the grey color variant, but it’s also available in an all-black option if that suits your décor better.

But it’s not just about looks—the build quality is genuinely impressive. Coming from a Bajaj oil radiator heater previously, I can confidently say the Nukk Hot Blox feels far more solidly constructed.

About 95% of the body is made of metal. Only the front panel, handle, and wheels are plastic—and even those are high-quality ABS plastic that’s clearly marked as fire-resistant. Even the power cable is made from fire-safe materials, and at approximately 1.7 meters, the length is more than sufficient for most room setups.

The weight tells you everything about its solid build—the Nuuk Hot Blox weighs around 12 kg, which is quite hefty. But don’t worry, you’re not going to be lifting it around. Like other oil radiator heaters, it comes with wheels for easy mobility. What’s nice is that these wheels are foldable, removable, and rotate 360 degrees. This makes storing this oil heater after winter incredibly convenient—you can fold the wheels and tuck it away safely in your storage.

Smart Features: The Real Game-Changer
Now let’s talk about features—because this was my main reason for choosing the Nuuk Hot Blox. This oil radiator offers several features and options that simply aren’t available in any other heater on the market.
LED Display with Touch Controls

First up, it has an LED display with touch buttons—something I’ve never seen on any other oil radiator heater. Usually, you get knob controls or basic LED indicator lights, but after using this best oil heater, I can honestly say it makes day-to-day operation so much more convenient.
The display is bright and large enough that you can easily read it from 20-25 feet away. The touch button placement and response are both excellent. There’s also a large LED light for heating indication.
And don’t worry about the lights disturbing you at night—both the display and indicator lights automatically turn off after a few seconds.
WiFi Connectivity and App Control
Here’s the smart feature that really stands out in the Nuuk Hot Blox: WiFi connectivity with app support. You can control this oil heater from anywhere using your smartphone—even from another room or while you’re at the office.

If you have senior citizens, children, or pets at home, this feature becomes incredibly useful. And as far as I know, no other room heater in India currently offers this level of smart control.
Connecting the Nuuk Hot Blox is surprisingly easy—so easy that you won’t even need to look at the manual. Just long-press the mode button to activate WiFi mode, download the Nuuk app (available on both Android and iOS), add your home WiFi details, and you’re connected.
Once set up, you can control everything through the app—power on/off, temperature control, mode changes, child lock, timer—everything. The app UI is clean and easy to use, simple enough even for senior citizens to navigate comfortably.
Remote Control Option
While app control is convenient and future-proof for daily use, I know many people prefer not to rely on apps or may not have WiFi at home. For them, the Nuuk Hot Blox includes a remote control. All the options available on the touch panel and app are also available on the remote. And yes, the remote has a cool, unique design too.

Performance: Multiple Heating Modes That Actually Matter
Between app control, remote control, and the smart display with touch buttons, operating the Nuuk Hot Blox is incredibly easy. But as an oil radiator heater, what really matters is performance—and the Nuuk Hot Blox delivers here too.

Four Heating Modes for Versatile Control
Just like an AC, this oil heater offers versatile temperature control with four heating modes: H1, H2, H3, and ECO.
Similar to modern inverter ACs, H1, H2, and H3 offer three different heat levels:
- H1 mode uses only 1000W—ideal if your room is small or the cold isn’t too intense
- H2 mode runs at 1200W—suitable for medium-sized rooms
- H3 mode operates at full 2200W capacity—for larger rooms or colder days
The benefit of these three modes is that you can easily control your electricity consumption with the Nuuk Hot Blox, so you won’t be shocked when you see your electricity bill.

ECO Mode: The Game-Changer in Oil Radiator Technology
But the real star here is the ECO mode—this is what makes the Nuuk Hot Blox a game-changer among oil radiators. Like an AC, it offers smart temperature control with a range from 15°C to 35°C. Just like an inverter AC, it automatically adjusts—turning on/off, slowing down or speeding up—based on your set temperature.
This is honestly the best feature of this oil heater. I think every oil radiator should have this. It makes the user experience so much better—the precise control ensures you always feel comfortable, and of course, it significantly reduces electricity consumption.
Timer Function
It also has a timer function to help save electricity. You can set an automatic shut-off time anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours.
Real-World Heating Performance
These features are exactly what I had in mind when I bought this oil radiator—and I was right. It’s comfortable to use, and I believe my electricity bill won’t be too high either. Performance-wise, I haven’t felt any compromise in the Nuuk Hot Blox.
Even though it has precise smart temperature control that prioritizes energy efficiency, there’s no sacrifice in performance.

I’ve been using the Nukk Hot Blox for the last 10 days, and performance-wise, it impressed me. When I first used this oil radiator heater, I thought since there’s no fan, it would definitely be silent—but maybe the heating speed would be slower. But that wasn’t the case at all.
Despite having no fan, the heating speed of the Nuuk Hot Blox is quite good. I tested it in my 15×15 feet room and also in my larger 27×15 feet drawing room, and the performance was solid in both spaces.

To bring my entire 15×15 feet room from 20°C to 28°C, it took only 10-12 minutes. Heat distribution was also consistent—I checked all the corners with a thermometer, and there was no difference compared to my old oil radiator heater. In fact, it’s slightly faster. My old oil heater was 2900W, the Hot Blox is only 2200W—yet the performance and heating speed are the same.
This is great because my heating needs are fully met without any compromise, and my electricity bill will be lower too with this best oil heater.
Safety Features
Oh, and I forgot to mention—the Nuuk Hot Blox has auto shut-off and three levels of overheat protection. So don’t worry, the temperature won’t go above 45°C. Even if you operate this oil radiator remotely from outside your home, there’s no need to worry. From a fire safety perspective, it’s solid.

Any Downsides?
After 10 days of use, I haven’t found any major downsides with the Nuuk Hot Blox. The only thing is that for the first 1-2 days, you might smell a slight oil odor—but that’s normal with all oil radiator heaters.
Final Verdict: Is the Nuuk Hot Blox Worth It?
Overall, the Nuuk Hot Blox is a solid product. Compared to normal oil radiators, it’s definitely a significant upgrade and could easily be considered one of the best heaters available in India right now.
If you’re planning to buy an oil heater or currently have a basic fan heater, and you come across the Nuuk Hot Blox, I’m sure you’ll be tempted just like I was. Because the features, control, and options this oil radiator heater offers—probably no other heater on the market provides all of this.
Yes, the price of the Hot Blox is slightly higher than regular oil radiator heaters. Normal oil heaters sell for around ₹10,000, while the Nuuk Hot Blox is priced around ₹14,000. But when you factor in the features, build quality, and design, it definitely justifies its price.
It’s worth it. You can definitely buy the Nuuk Hot Blox.
