Apple just launched the upgraded iPad Mini along with the new iPhone 13, iPad 2021, and Watch 7. The new iPad Mini comes with a large 8.3-inches Liquid Retina True tone display with narrow bezels. It also has 500 nits of brightness, a P3 wide color gamut, and an anti-reflective screen coating.

Under the hood, the iPad Mini is powered by a new A15 Bionic chip (the same chip that powers the iPhone 13), promises 40% performance improvements and an 80% leap in graphics performance compared to the previous generation A12 powered iPad Mini.

The camera department features a 12MP ultra-wide front camera and a 12MP rear camera with Focus Pixels and True Tone Flash. Like iPad 2021. The new iPadOS 15 has a Centre Stage feature that detects users and moves the frame to follow them during a video call. This function works in FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, and other video apps.

Along with that, there is a USB-C port for up to 5Gbps data transfer and the option to connect USB-C accessories (first time in the iPad mini). The new iPad mini also supports 2nd gen Apple Pencil, which attaches magnetically to iPad mini for wireless charging and pairing. There is also a landscape stereo speaker, and because of the narrow borders, the Touch ID button moves to the top.
