Airtel is now talking to the PUBG Corp to get back the back PUBG Mobile to India which is so much good news for the pubg mobile players. This is according to the report of the Entrackr that is claiming that the nation’s second-largest telecom operator who has now entered the fray after PUBG Corp’s negotiations with the telecom company Reliance Jio fell through.
According to the anonymous source, they are saying that the pubg is in the early stage of the conversation with Airtel for handing over distribution rights to the telecom giant. This is showing us that pubg is trying so much to return back into the Indian market. There is no official statement on this matter from the PUBG Corp and nor the Airtel but we would get the statement to expect to hear more sooner rather than later.
The report comes only days after new data from Sensor Tower indicated that PUBG Mobile downloads have fallen precipitously because it had been prohibited in India the previous month. According to the report, the match averaged approximately 10.7 million downloads worldwide in September, a 26.7% drop in 14.6 million in August.
On the other hand, the extreme decrease in the downloads of pubg mobile does not appear to have influenced PUBG Corp’s bottom line, however, given that despite the huge user-base, India contributes relatively little to the organization’s of pubg mobile entire earnings, which can be dominated by China, the US, and Japan.
The said that the country is the most important market for the game that is why the developers are looking to distance themselves from Tencent and now searching for an Indian partner to come back to the Indian market. But the discussions with the jio are now reportedly hit a dead-end and now it is so much interesting to see that the Airtel will be able to bring back the game or not.
