OnePlus launched its latest flagship smartphone ‘ OnePlus 5 ‘ in the US. OnePlus 5 comes in Slate Gray and Midnight Black colors and available at $479 (30,958 Rs approx). for the 6GB RAM/64GB version and the 8GB RAM/128GB version costs $539 (34,849 Rs approx). This phone is now available for pre-order on OnePlus.net in the U.S. and Europe. It will launch in India on Thursday and will go on sale on the same day at 4:30 PM exclusively on Amazon.
On the design front, it looks very similar to iPhone 7. It looks very stylish and premium, then previous onePlus phones. The company uses aluminum to make this phone. It sports more rounded corners and also features the iPhone 7 Plus-like crescent-shaped antenna lines on the top and bottom.
The OnePlus 5 feature a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with DCI-P3 color coverage and 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is power by powerful 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.
This Dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Oxygen OS. On the camera front, it has a 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras with wide-angle lens, large f/1.7 aperture. The secondary camera capture depth information for depth-of-field (bokeh) effect that blurs backdrops in portrait mode and offers 2x zoom. It also comes with 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a ceramic fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds. The Oneplus 5 has a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge that promises a day of battery life with half an hour of charge.
