The best part about the launch of this new Nothing ear (1) earbuds was that it was launched for both the global and Indian markets at the same time. It’s available for purchase at a price of $99 for US users. Whereas, Indian users can buy these earbuds by paying rupees Rs. 5,999. For Indian users, these new TWS Earbuds will exclusively be available on Flipkart. The first sale will start on 17th August at 12:00 p.m.
Key Features and Specification
So, now that you are aware of its pricing, let’s look at some of the key features and specifications of this new TWS earbud that make it unique from its competitors in this price range.
The Nothing ear (1) comes with a transparent case design. And in a world where everyone is trying to copy the AirPods design, this new TWS earbud is trying to make its name in the market with its design.
Talking about Nothing’s first product, Carl Pie said, “Nothing ear (1) is a breath of fresh air in a cluttered and indifferent market, setting the tone for our connected digital world to come”. The earbuds have been given a transparent design in order to keep them secure in the case. According to my, the best part about the transparent case is that you can always cross-check that you are not missing an earbud before going out for traveling.
Not only the case, but the earbuds also have a transparent body through which we can clearly see the microphone, magnets, and circuit boards. Frankly speaking, I am literally impressed with the design of Nothing ear (1).
Earbuds and Audio Quality
In order to provide users with a transparent design, Nothing didn’t forget to focus on the sound quality and the comfort level of earbuds. Weighing just 4.7g, the TWS earbuds come with an in-ear design with silicone tips for a perfect fit in your ears. You also get the feature of touch gestures. Some common gestures that you can use in this earbud are double-tap, triple-tap, and slide-up/down. It supports Bluetooth 5.2 and comes along with AAC and SBC codec.
To provide you with crystal clear and rich sound, the Nothing ear (1) is packed with 11.6 mm dynamic drivers that are tuned using Teenage Engineering. To make it easy for you to recognize the right earbud, the developers have also added a red color signal. Most importantly, the TWS earbuds come with the support of IPX4 water and dust resistance, in-ear detection, and 3 microphones. This feature is important for folks who get so lost in the flow of music that they forget to take out the earbuds before going into the water.
Along with all these, you also get “Clear Voice Technology” to enhance your calling experience, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to cancel out any kind of background noise coming from your side.
The question that every earbud user wants to ask is, “What’s the battery life of your earbuds”? So, Nothing ear (1) is supposed to deliver 4 hours of music playback with ANC enabled and up to 5.7 hours playback with ANC disabled. And with the case on, you will get 24 hours of music playback with ANC enabled, and 34 power of music playback with ANC disabled.
As per the claim of the company, you will get 1.2 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of quick charge, and 8 hours of playback if used with the case. This Nothing product comes with the support of Qi wireless charging.
Nothing also has its official app for both Android and IOS, therefore, you can connect the earbuds to it to keep it updated and install new features to it. The app comes with many other features such as Find My Earbuds, transparency mode, and two stages of ANC – light and maximum.
Moreover, let us know in the comment section that, Are these features enough to excite you for this new Earbud under Rs. 6000? Or, are you looking for any other option?
