Nokia has just launched the Nokia G10 smartphone in the country, which would be the latest entrant in the company’s G-series lineup in India. The company also launched another smartphone, the Nokia C01 in the Indian markets together with the Nokia G10. However, unlike the C01 which was an entry-level smartphone, the G10 is a mid-level smartphone with better specifications. With that being said, let us have a look at the smartphone in detail.
The G10 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a V-notch on the top. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset and is supplemented with 4 GB RAM. The phone runs on the latest Android 11 and Nokia promises software upgrades for the next two years along with three years of security updates. The smartphone features a triple camera( 13 MP primary + 2 MP macro + 2 MP depth) setup on the back along with an 8 MP camera on the front end.
The storage demands are met by 64 gigs of eMMC 5.1 storage onboard which can be expanded up to 512 GB with the help of an external microSD card, and you get a triple sim slot (nano + nano + microSD). The smartphone still retains the 3.5mm audio jack and you also get support for FM Radio. The smartphone features a dedicated Google Assistant button, and the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the power on/off button itself.
The smartphone features IPX2 splash-resistant rating which is a great thing. In terms of connectivity options, the smartphone offers 4G VoLTE on both the sims, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GLONASS, and USB Type-C port for connecting the charging cable. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,050 mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
