Xiaomi has launched another affordable smart TV, the Mi TV 4C, in the Indian markets today. The Mi TV 4C is a 32-inch HD-ready smart TV that runs on Android OS and supports more than 16 languages. When compared to Xiaomi’s own Mi TV that is quite popular in the Indian market, the Mi TV 4C is a bit bulky and has more bezels. However, the latest entrant houses an ample number of ports and some new features that might boost the popularity of the Mi TV even more amongst the Indians. Mi TV 4C: Specifications and Features
First things first, the Mi TV 4C houses a 32-inch display with a regular 60 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The TV offers a viewing angle of 178 degrees which is one of the highest in the segment. Additionally, the response time of the Mi 4C is 8ms.
Now the TV runs on Xiaomi’s own Vivid Picture Engine and the Patchwall interface based on the Android TV. Mi has also added the Mi Quick Wake feature on the 4C allowing the TV to turn on in less than five seconds. The television arrives with a built-in Chromecast out of the box and supports the Google Assistant as well.
Talking about the processor, the Mi TV4C packs the 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex A53 processor coupled with the Mali-450 MP3 graphics card. The TV also offers 8GB of internal storage paired with 1GB RAM. When talking about connectivity options and ports, the all-new Mi 4C has an abundance of them. Not only does the TV laptop support Bluetooth version 4.2, but you also get three HDMI ports, dual USB 2.0 ports, an ethernet port, an AV port, and a 3.5mm earphone jack for audio output.
The Mi TV 4C features two 10W speakers that add up to provide the TV with 20W of sound output. Needless to say, the television is sufficiently loud. The remote features a voice assistant button and also houses controls for accessing Amazon Prime Video and Netflix directly. Thanks to the PatchWall interface, you can search for your favorite content on various OTT platforms. The Mi TV 4C weighs about 3.87 KG without the stand and its dimensions are 433.5mm by 729.7mm.
Mi TV 4C: Pricing and Availability
The Mi TV 4C carries a price tag of Rs. 15,999 and it is offered in a single black color variant. The TV would go on sale on 5th August and it would be sold in India via the official Mi India website.
