LG's GLD1956ZAPZ is the lowest priced 5 star fridge here from one of the three biggest service networks.
Cooling and features. It has a Smart Inverter compressor, a base stand with drawer, fast ice making, Smart Connect, toughened glass shelves, an anti bacterial gasket and a door lock. LG's own page says it runs safely without an external stabilizer.
Power use. LG's own page for this model gives 5 star and 115 units a year.
Warranty. The warranty is 1 year on the product. LG's own page lists a 10 year compressor warranty.

Cooling and features. It has an advanced inverter compressor, 30+ hours of cooling retention, a big vegetable box, a base stand, a spacious drain tray, and stabilizer free operation from 100 to 300 V. It also lists Auto Inverter and Solar Connect.
Power use. It is 5 star at 112 units a year, the lowest of the six single door picks.
Warranty. IFB calls it Super Warranty: 4 years on the machine, 10 years on the compressor and 10 years of spare parts support, with terms applying.

Haier's HEF-251EGSA-P is a 240 L top mount double door with a much larger freezer than the single door picks.
Cooling and features. It has frost free cooling, a Cool Pad that holds freezer cooling during power cuts, Turbo Icing, an easy clean back, stabilizer free operation, three toughened glass shelves and an anti bacterial gasket. The compressor is a normal fixed speed one.
Power use. It is a 1 star model. The annual units quoted online do not look consistent for a 1 star 240 L fridge, so I do not quote them. Expect a higher power bill than the 5 star single doors above.
Warranty. The warranty is 1 year comprehensive and 10 years on the compressor.
Haier 240 L 1 Star Frost Free Double Door Refrigerator (HEF-251EGSA-P) vs the competition. Against the Haier 190 L 5 star single door, this one gives a 57 L frost free freezer and 183 L of fresh food space, but costs about ₹4,500 more and has a higher power bill.

Godrej's RD EMARVEL 215E THI leads on price and on advertised warranty. The catch is the fine print.
Cooling and features. It has an inverter compressor with Turbo Cooling, which it says gives up to 10% faster ice making and up to 24% faster bottle cooling. The title also lists Moisture Control and Hygiene+.
Power use. The warranty is 5 star but no annual energy figure, so check the BEE label.
Warranty. The maker says 5 years free comprehensive warranty on purchases from 1 April 2026, until withdrawn at the company's discretion. You must register on the Godrej website within 15 days of purchase.

If the warranty matters to you, yes. IFB gives 4 years on the product against 1 year, and lists 112 units a year, the lowest of the six single door picks. The trade is service reach, which is smaller than LG, Samsung or Whirlpool. If your city has an IFB service centre, take the IFB.
2 · Which one if I want the lowest price?
The Godrej 194 L on Amazon. Its 5 year offer needs online registration within 15 days of purchase. Next are the LG 185 L on Flipkart and the Haier 190 L on Amazon, both a little more.
3 · Why is a 1 star double door on a 5 star list?
Because you asked for a double door near ₹20,000 and this is the only one that fits. Most double doors start near ₹23,000. I placed it third by hand, not by score: it scores lower than the single doors on power use, so choose it for the frost free freezer and not for running cost.
Other refrigerators I looked at
LG 201 L 5 Star (GL-D211HBCZ). It has a 24 L freezer and a Smart Inverter compressor but it costs ₹3,000 more than the LG 185 L pick.
Whirlpool 184 L 5 Star. It lists 116 units a year on Amazon. The 207 L Whirlpool costs ₹1,800 more and gives more space, so it is the one on the list.
