Design & Build
One of the reasons I love this power bank because of good look and build quality. It looks very sleek and compact compare to other power banks. The dark gray color gives a premium feel to this power bank. It’s not only good looking but builds quality also great and it feels very solid. This power bank features aa180° ergonomic arc design which provides a more secure hand grip. The smooth anodized finish creates a surface resistant to sweat, daily wear, and corrosion. On the front, side, it has a tiny CNC machined Mi logo and rest of area is empty. The back side, you found SR rating info.
When coming to the top side, it has power On/Off button, 4 LED indicator lights, micro USB charging port, and 2.4A USB output port. The matte finish can be easily scratched so be careful. On the bottom side, you found lots of info about input & output voltage info.
This power bank, it’s very lightweight and compact, so you can easily carry in your pocket. Mi Power Bank 2 is merely 14.1mm thin and 227g bulky. The Best part of this power bank is, No heating issues while charging or discharging, even made of metal.
When coming to the performance, The Power backup capacity of this power bank is very decent. We get 6900 mAH capacity out of 10000 mAh capacity, that’s really fair compared to other 10000 mAH power bank at this price range. Please note, no any power bank in the market would give you the full power, you only get 80% of the total power. During the test, Mi power bank 2 charge my Oneplus 3t(3400 mAH) for two times. This power bank has a single 2.4A output port, so it can quickly charge your phone compared to others. It takes 1 hour to fully charge your 3000mAH battery-powered phone. If your phone supports 2.1A input, otherwise 1:30 hours for normal charging. If your phone does not support 2.4A input, then don’t worry this power bank can automatically adjust output according to your device input.
