Mi 11 tempered glass: After releasing a couple of models in the Mi 10 line up, Xiaomi is now expected to launch its Mi 11 series on December 29. Do note that the date is not officially confirmed yet! Mi 11 series is expected to debut as the first Snapdragon 888 powered device. By this time we pretty much know what Xiaomi is hiding under its sleeve with the Mi 11 series, thanks to the streak of leaks. Now, a new leak has appeared which gives us a good look at the upcoming Mi 11’s tempered glass.

The image of the tempered glass appeared on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. Taking a closer look at the image, one can clearly understand that the device comes with a curved screen and comes with a punch-hole display notch. The camera cut-out is found in the top left corner which is a similar design found on the Mi 10 series of devices like Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and the Extreme edition. Also, the cut-out confirms that the device only comes with a single front-facing camera.
Previously, the Chinese giant has confirmed that they are working on their third-generation under-display camera tech which will be mass-produced and commercialized in 2021. Now, it looks like Mi 11 is missing out on this technology and we are very certain that the next generation of Mi flagships releasing with under-display camera technology. As mentioned earlier, the device comes with Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with 8 GB of RAM.
Reports also suggest that the top variant in the Mi 11 series will feature a Samsung 2K AMOLED display and have a support for 120 Hz refresh rate. The top variant of the device is expected to come with 120W ultra-fast charging and the normal variant comes with 55W fast charging. As for the optics, the cameras are stacked in a unique camera alignment. The layout will also have a gradient colors with chamfered bump.
The Mi 11 series is expected to follow the basics and a similar strategy to the predecessor. The device boasts a premium design and the company does not compromise on specifications and other features. From the leaked images and renders, the device seems to retain the glass design and all the current-gen flagship features. With that said, let us discuss the specifications of the device.
