Realme Buds Wireless 2 best bluetooth earphones under 2000

Realme Buds Wireless 2 is the successor of Realme’s first Wireless neckband headset that was released in 2019. It is a great update over its predecessor, as it covers all the loopholes that were found in Realme Buds.

In terms of design and build quality, the product has ticked all the boxes as it offers a comfortable feeling around the neck even while using it for long hours. Furthermore, the buds offer the support of the Realme Link App using which you can try out different features of these buds such as active noise cancellation, gaming mode, transparency, or normal mode.

Now, if I talk about the sound quality, the Realme produces a balanced bass and excellent audio output. The overall sound quality is very pleasing to ears, thanks to perfectly preserved vocals, and higher-end treble notes. The product comes with a 135 mAh battery that can provide 18 hours of continuous playback with ANC enabled. Further, the device takes almost 1 hour to charge from 0 to 100. Moreover, by charging the product from the Dart Charge fast charging Technology you can get 12 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging.

The Realme Buds Wireless 2 comes along with active noise cancellation to cancel out any kind of disturbance coming out from the surroundings and offers 22 hours of battery life with ANC disabled. Considering the pricing, the ANC did an excellent job. For protecting the neckband earphones from any kind of dust and water, the Realme product comes IPX5 resistance rating.

The Bud 2 offers some exclusive features like Game Mode, ANC, Transparency, General Modes, and SonyLDAC Hi-Res Audio. These features make this Realme product the most powerful wireless neckband in the budget segment and the top contender on our list. However, I did notice a bit of latency while watching videos. To be precise, the audio and video were not perfectly synced. But, the best part is, you can turn on the Gaming Mode via the Realme Link App to fix this issue.

3. OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z is an entry-level Bluetooth earphone from the smartphone manufacturing giant OnePlus. Design-wise, the Wireless Z looks almost similar to OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2 that was released in 2019. Because of the low pricing, OnePlus have excluded some crucial features from these earphones such as the aptX Bluetooth codec, and multiple dynamic driver support.

Some crucial features that OnePlus have decided to continue in these entry-level earphones are the USB Type-C Port, good battery life along with fast charging. The earphones just take 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 and deliver 20 hours of continuous playback in full charge. The earphones also offer the support of Bluetooth 5 connectivity.

For keeping the earphone safe from unintentional water and dust encounters, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z features an IP55 rating. The earphones also offer very low latency for all the gaming geeks. However, in our testing, these features only worked fine on a OnePlus device with fanatic mode enabled.

In terms of audio quality, the OnePlus earphones did a decent job, considering the fact that it doesn’t come along with aptX support, and only has a single-driver setup. The product also come along with a Quick Switch feature using which you can connect two devices earphone simultaneously.

4. Mi Neckband Pro

Mi Neckband Pro

The Mi Neckband Pro is a budget-segment Bluetooth earphone, and it can easily be noticed by looking at the design of this product. Xiaomi has done the cost-cutting in this product by going with the combination of rubber and glossy plastics. With that said, the earphones are comfortable to wear even during long uses, and I didn’t felt any discomfort leaving them around my neck even while they were switched off.

The volume changer, power button, and the ANC toggle are present on the neckband and are well within the reach. The earphone cables aren’t of that premium quality, but considering the pricing, it’s something that we can compromise with. Furthermore, the earphones don’t switch on-off while magnetically attaching the earbuds, and the magnetic attachment feature has only been given to comfortably manage the cables.

Now if I talk about the connectivity, the earphones come with the support of Bluetooth 5.0 and offer a 10 meter Sony connectivity range. Coming to the audio output section, the Mi Neckband Pro is going to impress the crowd who loves high bass. I played a range of songs, and the earphones did a quite decent job in both high and low bass. But unfortunately the same can’t be said when it comes to detail and clarity. I noticed that the earphones struggled to deliver a clear and detailed output at the maximum volume.

The noise-canceling offered by Mi Neckband Pro is reasonably effective, however, it doesn’t come with the option of adjusting the level of noise cancellation, a feature that has become common nowadays in budget segment headsets. Lastly, if we talk about the battery life, on paper, the earphones claim to offer 20 hours of continuous playback on a single charge with ANC enabled. But in my testing, I got 14 hours of playback with ANC enabled and volume constantly set on 60%. Even being so far from what was advertised, these numbers are still good enough for a budget segment earphones.

Overall, if you are a fan of Xiaomi products and ANC, high bass is your priority then without a second thought you should go with Mi Neckband Pro.

Pros & Cons:

  • Functional design
  • Comfortable fit
  • ANC is an added bonus
  • Good battery life
  • Strong bass, clean sound
  • Micro-USB
  • A little too bass-heavy

Specification:

  • Style: In-ear neckband
  • Drivers Size: – 10 mm
  • Microphone: Yes
  • Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5.0, up to 8m
  • Playtime: approx 17-18h

5. Sony WI-C200

Sony WI-C200

The Sony WI-C200 is again a good option if you are looking for the best Bluetooth earphones under 2000. The branding and trust of Sony make these earphones a go-to option.

Design-wise, the Sony WI-C200 looks similar to Just another around-the-neck headphones, but with smaller earbuds and long cables. The earphones are fairly comfortable around the neck as well as ears, thanks to their lightweight design. However, I started to feel some kind of uneasiness in my ears during long uses of these earphones. Additionally, some people also won’t be that comfortable with the long cables offered by these earphones.

Like other budget segment options, the WI-C200 also comes with a 3-button scheme, i.e. play/pause, take calls, and double-tap to activate voice assistant. These Sony earphones don’t come with the option of ANC and it is the biggest demerit of this product. Furthermore, the product comes with the support of Bluetooth 5.0

Now, if I talk about the sound quality and bass performance, the Sony WI-C200 did a decent job in both the department. The Mids were good, and Treble was crisp and clear. Lastly, in terms of battery, the device claims to offer 15 hours of battery life in a single charge and 60 minutes of playback with his 10 minutes of quick charge. But, in my testing, the battery last barely 10 hours, and these numbers are less when compared to other options mentioned in the list.

Overall, if you want to go with the branding of Sony, and looking for a product that can do a decent job in the sound and bass department, then Sony WI-C200 is the name for you.

Pros & Cons:

  • Simple and lightweight design
  • Decent audio reproduction
  • Good battery life
  • Quick charge
  • Average build quality
  • Mushy control buttons

  • Style: In-ear neckband
  • Drivers Size: – 9 mm

  • Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5.0, up to 8m
  • Playtime: approx 15h

6. Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo

Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo

It’s hard to keep Realme and Xiaomi away from a list that is totally focused on a budget-segment product. Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo is another option that you can look forward to if you are tight on your budget.

The main body of the earphone is made of plastic, which makes it a lightweight option in the budget segment earphones. However, it is not as soft as OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z, but is definitely comfortable around the neck as well as ears. The earbuds are also made of plastic, and they are extremely comfortable even during long uses. Overall, in terms of build and design, Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo does a decent job, and there’s nothing much to complain about.

In terms of connectivity, the product again does a great job by offering 10-12 meters of connectivity range. Furthermore, the earbuds come with a magnetically attachable feature. Therefore, you can use this feature to switch on-off the earphones.

Coming to the sound output, the overall sound quality is quite decent considering the pricing at which the earphones come. But to be precise, the bass has been emphasized too much because of which the mids and the vocals feel suppressed while listening to high bass music.

Lastly, In my testing, the earphones offered 14 hours of battery life at full volume, which is again a good number considering the pricing of the product. Further, it offers two hours of playback with 10 minutes of quick charge.

In all, Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo is a good option if you are looking for earphones that can do a decent job in day-to-day use.

Pros & Cons:

  • Stylish design
  • Comfortable
  • Bass reach clear audio
  • Good battery life, fast charging support

7. boAt Rockerz 335

boAt Rockerz 335

How can we forget the name of boAt when we are talking about earphones and headphones. So, to conclude our list of the best Bluetooth earphones under 2000 we have boAt Rockerz 335.

The boAt Rockerz 335 build quality is quite decent but again not as good as OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z. The module comes in metal built, and its quality is excellent. In terms of comfortability, I have a mixed opinion about this boAt product. The ear tips offered by these earphones are not that comfortable. And I started to feel irritation in my ears during use. In my opinion, it needs to be softer.

The boAt Rockerz 335 comes along with IPX5 to protect the product from unintentional water or dust encounters. Coming to the connectivity, the features Bluetooth 5.0 support, and give stable connection. But on the negative side, the range is not that good. To be precise, it only offers a connectivity range of 6-7 meters.

The earphones offer dual-pairing mode, i.e. you can connect with two devices simultaneously. And this feature is among the most important reason to mention this product in this list. Now, if I talk about the sound quality, the product offers average sound output. The loudness is just on another level, and to be specific, the sound feels like it is coming from some cheap Chinese audio device. The bass is also emphasized too much because of which the earphones struggle to produce good vocals and high frequencies.

Lastly, in terms of battery life, I must say the earphone stands on the claims made by boAt, i.e. 30hrs of battery life. In my testing, the earphones offered 25 hours of battery life on full volume in a single charge. And if you will use the earphones on 60-70% volume then it’s definitely going to give you at least 30 hours of battery life.

Overall, if battery life is your priority, then boAt Rockerz 335 is the best option from our list.

Pros & Cons:

  • aptX support
  • Bass reach audio
  • Good battery life
  • IPX5
  • Fast charge support
  • Not ideal for the balanced audio lover
  • Old school design
