OnePlus Nord CE 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 22999, with a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 750G

OnePlus just launched its latest mid-range smartphone OnePlus Nord CE 5G in the Indian market, it’s a toned-down version of the original Nord from the last year. It comes with a similar design, a 5G-enabled Snapdragon chipset, triple cameras, and much more.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G available in three different color variants – Blue Void with a matte finish, Charcoal Ink with a glossy finish, and Silver Ray which reflects light for a gradient effect.

It will be available from Amazon India and the OnePlus online store as well as OnePlus Experience stores starting from June 16th. Pre-booking starting from today, June 11th at 12 noon.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G Specification:

On the design front, Nord CE 5G, at first glance, looks similar to the original Nord smartphone, which released last year. However, instead of the dual-selfie-camera cutout at the front, the Nord CE 5G comes with a single punch-hole at the top-left corner. Additionally, the Nord CE 5G is the sleekest and the slimmest device since the OnePlus 6T. It has a 7.9mm thickness and weighs around 170g.

It comes with a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED screen that supports 2400 x 1080p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, much like the original Nord, the new Nord CE also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G powered by Snapdragon 750G 5G mobile chipset, comes with the Adreno 619 GPU and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB (UFS 2.1 ) built-in storage. Unfortunately, there is no way to expand the storage.

On the camera front, the device comes with a triple-camera setup for the rear camera that includes a 64MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree FOV, and a 2MP monochrome lens. For the selfie, there is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor on the front.

Coming to the connectivity, it has a 5G SA/NSA (N78), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/NavIC, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C.

The phone runs on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11, and the company promising 2 years of software updates and 3 years of security updates.
