Mi NoteBook 14 & Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition launched in India

Xiaomi just launched its new Mi Notebook 14 and Mi notebook 14 Horizon Edition in India as it had promised.

The Mi Notebook 14 comes in three models, and the Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition available in two variants. All variants will be available from June 17th on Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi Home stores and Mi Studio. Pricing as follows.

The design and the build of both variants are almost the same, both variants come in Mercury Gray colour and A5052 aluminium and magnesium alloy body (coated through a process of anodized sandblasting), which look really attractive and it and very lightweight (Only 1.34 kgs).

It has printed key text and scissor-switch keyboard mechanism with 1.3mm key travel, but it is not backlit, and it doesn’t have a dedicated number pad.

Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition

This Mi notebook 14 Horizon Edition comes with 14-inch Full-HD anti-glare LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 91% screen-to-body ratio. The panel boasts a 178-degree viewing angle, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 250 nits of peak brightness. The bezels here are thin, so you don’t get a built-in webcam onboard. But don’t worry company bundles an external webcam for your work from home task.

On the performance side, it has a 10th-Gen Intel Core i7-10510U processor with a max clock speed up to 4.9GHz. The laptop is also available with 10th gen i5 chipset. This is coupled with 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 RAM and 512 GB SATA and NVME SSD storage option. You also get a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX350 (2GB) GPU for graphics need task.

You also get Mi Smart Share for faster file sharing and Blaze Unlock for unlocking the laptop using a Mi Band.

On the connectivity side, it has a USB 2.0 port and 3.5mm audio jack on the left. The right edge includes 2 X USB 3.1, one HDMI 1.4b, and one USB Type-C port. You also get WiFi 802.11ac (WiFi 5, 2 x 2) and Bluetooth 5.0 as the wireless connectivity options.

The laptop equipped with a 46Wh battery, which provides you up to 10 hours on a single charge. With fast charging support. it can juice up the battery from 0% to 50% in just around 35 minutes.

Mi Notebook 14

The standard Mi notebook 14 looks almost the same as Horizon edition, but there are some minor differences. The most obvious differentiator between the two variants is the bezels. Mi Notebook 14 has a thicker bezel surrounding the 14-inch Full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 178-degree viewing angle, and 250 nits of peak brightness. Since the laptop doesn’t come with a webcam, the company bundles an external webcam.

On the performance side, it comes with 10th-Gen Intel Core i5-10510U (Comet Lake) chipset. It’s coupled with 8GB 2666MHz RAM, up to 256GB & 512GB SATA 3 SSD onboard. And for graphics related work, the one variant also available with 2GB Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU. The connectivity and battery features for this variant remains the same as the previous Horizon Edition.
