The Indian smartphone & audio accessories brand Boat has launched its first smartwatch ‘ Boat Storm ‘ in the market with a price tag of Rs 1,999. The smartwatch available in two colour variants- Black and Blue, and you will be able to buy the smartwatch starting from October 29, 2020, at 12 pm. The new Boat Storm is the company’s first smartwatch, and it looks pretty much like a standard smartwatch in this price range.

The Smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch colour display with 2.5D curved touch that secured with a metal body casing. It offers many customization options via the boAt ProGear app, giving you the choice between 100+ personalized watch faces, currently the few faces available for download but latter more options will be avalible via OTP update.

The Boat Storms specially made for fitness enthusiasts and comes with a plenty of features to serve those interests. It has a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen measurements, a 24×7 heart rate monitor, a meditation mode and more.

The company claims that the watch is meant for users who perform high intensity workouts and want precise health monitoring. For women, the smaertwatch can record and predict Menstrual and Ovulation Cycles with the Menstruation Cycle Tracker.

It comes with 9 sports modes, Including Running, Cycling, Walking, Fitness, Treadmill, Hiking, Climbing, Yoga and Dynamic Cycling. Other than that, the Boat Storms features Bluetooth 4.2 and water-resistant for upto 50m depth in water, and a 210mAh battery that offers 10 days of usage and 30 days standby time.

The boat also claimed that the smartwatch is designed for those peoples “who perform high-intensity workouts and require precise health and fitness monitoring.” There is also a cycle tracking mode with which women can record, track, and anticipate their period and ovulation cycles straight from the wrist.

Other features that the watch has Bluetooth 4.2. The Boat Storm comes with 5ATM water resistance up to 50min, and the capacity 210mAh of battery that company claims 10 days battery life and 30 days standby time.
