Xiaomi just launched the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, the company’s latest mid-range 5G phone in the Indian market. It is a successor to Mi 11 Lite 4G which was introduced earlier this year and carries the “New Edition” (NE) moniker.

Starting with the design, the new 11 Lite NE 5G has the exact same design and color variant as its predecessor. The thickness and weight are also the same, so in terms of design, there is nothing new to describe.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G comes with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 2400 x 1080-pixel resolution and 90Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen also comes with HDR 10+, DCI-P3 color gamut, and Dolby Vision support for an immersive viewing experience. You also have a 20MP punch-hole front camera cutout on the front.
Coming to performance, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset along with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD.
The phone runs on the latest Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box. In the lens department, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor (f/1.79 aperture), 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 5MP Telemacro lens.
On the connectivity side, the phone has dual-SIM 5G support along with 12 5G band support (n1/ n3/ n5/ n7/ n8/ n20/ n28/ n38/ n41/ n66/ n77/ n78). It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 4250mAh battery with 33W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in 20 minutes and 100% in just 58 minutes.
Price and Availability
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G has been priced at Rs 26999 for 6GB RAM with a 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 28,999. The phone will be available from October 2nd at midnight on Amazon India and Mi online and offline stores.
