HUAWEI Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ announced with FHD+ 90Hz OLED screen

Huawei today announced the new flagship phones that are HUAWEI Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ smartphone in the online event. The Mate 40  comes with the  6.5-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz screen and the smartphone Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ comes with the 6.76-inch FHD+ OLED 88° Horizon Display with the refresh rate of 90Hz  and  240Hz touch sampling rate. These all phones have the Kirin 9000 5G 5nm SoCs with dedicated NPUs which will run on Android 10 with the  EMUI 11.0 on top with HMS.

All these smartphones have a 50MP Ultra Vision Camera with a 1/1.28-inch detector which includes 16-in-1 pixel fusion technologies for the measuring of binned pixel dimensions 2.44μm to significantly boost light consumption for improved low-light functionality, f/1.9 aperture. Besides the main camera, the Mate 40 comes with a 16MP Cine Camera plus an 8MP megapixel camera for 3x zoom. The Mate 40 Pro and Pro+ include a 20MP Cine Camera plus with the 12MP megapixel camera lens and the 3x optical zoom along with the Mate 40 pro + which has an extra 8MP Periscope Camera with the Optical Zoom of 10x along with a 3D thickness sensing ToF camera.

HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro and the HUAWEI Mate 40 pro + attribute new user-centric features such as Smart Gesture Control, which permits complete hands-free charge of your devices. Simply user has to hover their hands across the unit to wake it up or navigate your phone by swiping, right, down, and up. There’s also an air media gesture for call answering.

There is also a Porsche Design Mate 40 RS with exactly the very same specifications as the Mate 40 Pro+, however, that has an infrared temperature detector, a custom-made case, and the Porsche Design-branded theme.
