Now you can link your mobile number to Aadhaar card via OTP

As you know, the Indian government has made it mandatory to link your mobile number with Aadhaar card. You have until March 31 to link their mobile number with Aadhaar. While You can also link your Aadhaar by visiting the mobile network store, but this may take some time. But now you can easily link your mobile number to Aadhaar card via IVR service. The process is very simple, you just need to keep your Aadhaar number at hand and follow these steps. With these simple steps, your Aadhaar will be successfully linked to your mobile number in a matter of minutes.

Currently, Airtel, Idea and Vodafone users can start linking their Aadhaar with their mobile numbers using the new IVR service. While Jio and BSNL users will have to wait for some more time.

Step 1: Dial 14546 from your mobile phone. You will be asked by IVR to select your language (Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi….).

Step 2: Select whether you are an Indian national or an NRI.

Step 3: Now you will have to give consent to link Aadhaar with your phone number by pressing 1.

Step 4: Enter your 12-digit unique Aadhaar number and press 1 to confirm.

Step 5: Accept consent to your operator to pick your name, photo and date of birth from UIDAI data.

Step 6:  You receive an OTP while you are on the call (OTP is valid for 30 minutes).

Step 7: You must press 1 to complete the re-verification process.

Step 8: You’ll receive a confirmation SMS on your mobile number.
