Facebook partners with Airtel for 20,000 hotspots of Express WiFi

Today Social networking giant Facebook has announced the commercial launch of Express WiFi in India. Facebook was testing this service in the India since August last year with 700 hotspots across the four Indian states Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Meghalaya.

Facebook is working with internet services providers (ISPs) and over 500 local entrepreneur-retailers for Express WiFi. The company also partners with Airtel for new 20,000 hotspots of Express WiFi all over the country. These new hotspots will begin to start over the next few months. Facebook also partnership with ISPs AirJaldi in Uttarakhand, LMES in Rajasthan, Tikona in Gujarat, and Shaildhar in Meghalaya.

Facebook Express WiFi is specially designed low-cost mobile Internet connectivity and high bandwidth for getting online and access apps, download and stream content.

The Facebook Express Wifi service’s aimed to help Indians peoples to connect the internet easily with affordable rate. In order to access the Express Wi-Fi, you need to sign up with an Express Wi-Fi retailer and buy a daily, weekly or monthly data pack at a rate set by our retailers. After signing up you can connect to the Express Wi-Fi hotspot, create/register an account, login and start browsing or use any app and website on the entire internet.
